Currie-Reitz Blues

I attended Ian Currie's workshop in Plymouth, Michigan several years ago. As part of the workshop a grid was fired based on one of Don Reitz blue-green glazes that Ian showed. He showed it to us on one of Hank Murrow's bowls. After I left the workshop, I reworked the fluxes a bit and created this grid. This grid has plenty of interesting glazes to explore.

I love the color response of these glazes but I don't like the working property of the glaze slurry. The spodumene in the glaze tends to settle to the bottom of the bucket making consistent application tricky.
